Frequently asked questions
Everything about shipping, customs, returns and our tool kits. Can't find your answer? We're happy to help.
Orders & shipping
How fast do you ship?
We pack and ship most orders within 1–3 business days after payment. As soon as your parcel is on its way, you'll get an email with the tracking number. We don't ship on weekends or Austrian public holidays.
Average delivery times for each country are on our Delivery time page. Need your order by a certain date, e.g. for a trip? Write to us before you order and we'll tell you if it's realistic.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping depends on your country and order value. The more you order, the less you pay for shipping, up to free shipping. You always see the exact cost in the cart before you pay.
Free shipping from:
- Austria, Germany, most other European countries, Switzerland and Norway: €150
- United Kingdom: €300
- USA: €350
- Canada and Asia: €400
- Australia and New Zealand: €500
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship from Austria to 45+ countries in Europe, North America, Asia and Oceania. You'll find all of them in the country selector and at checkout. Your country isn't listed? Write to us and we'll check whether we can ship there.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has shipped, you'll receive an email with the tracking number and a link to follow your parcel. If you have a customer account, you can also see the status there under Orders.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Write to us as soon as possible with your order number. As long as your order hasn't been packed yet, we can usually still change it. Once it has shipped, you can use your right of withdrawal (see Returns & withdrawal).
Customs & taxes
Do your prices include VAT?
Within the EU, all prices include VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately in the cart and at checkout.
For deliveries outside the EU, your country may add import taxes and customs duties. See the next questions.
I live outside the EU. Will I have to pay anything on delivery?
Possibly. Every country has its own rules: depending on where you live and your order value, import VAT or sales tax, customs duties and a clearance fee from the carrier may be due. These charges are set by your country, are not part of our price and are collected by the carrier on delivery. We can't influence or refund them. If you're unsure, please check with your customs office before ordering.
USA: Do I have to pay import duties?
Yes. Since 29 August 2025, the USA no longer has a duty-free allowance (de minimis) for parcels from abroad, so US import duties apply to every order. FedEx collects them on behalf of US Customs, usually together with a processing fee, before or on delivery. The amount depends on the current US tariff rates.
Canada: Do I have to pay import charges?
Usually yes. GST/HST and, depending on the product, customs duties are collected by FedEx on behalf of the Canada Border Services Agency, together with a brokerage fee if applicable. You pay them on delivery.
United Kingdom: Can you ship to me?
Yes, for orders from €165. Because of the UK VAT rules for low-value imports, we can't ship smaller orders to the UK at the moment. For orders from €165, UK import VAT and any customs duties are charged on delivery by the carrier.
Returns & withdrawal
Can I return something?
Yes. As a consumer, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. The easiest way is the Withdraw from contract link at the bottom of every page.
On top of that, you can return unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of receipt. Please register the return in advance at office@roiamoto.com.
Return shipping costs are paid by you. All details are in our refund policy.
Where do I send my return, and when do I get my money back?
Please send returns to: ROIA MOTO OG, Brixentaler Strasse 65, 6300 Wörgl, Austria.
After a withdrawal, we refund your payment within 14 days, using the same payment method you paid with. We may wait until the goods are back with us or you've sent us proof of shipment.
My order arrived damaged, wrong or defective. What now?
Sorry about that! Please write to office@roiamoto.com with your order number and a few photos. We'll take care of it quickly, and in this case we cover the shipping costs.
Payment
Which payment methods do you accept?
Depending on your country, you can pay by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Revolut Pay, bank transfer and local methods such as eps, Bancontact, iDEAL | Wero, Bizum or MB WAY. All methods available for your country are shown at checkout.
Is paying in your shop secure?
Yes. Our checkout runs on Shopify and is fully encrypted. Card payments are processed by certified payment providers, and we never see or store your full card number.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, our gift card. It doesn't expire and can be redeemed in our online shop. Gift cards can't be exchanged for cash; any remaining balance stays on the card.
Tool kits & products
Which tool kit fits my motorcycle?
Every ROIA MOTO tool kit is put together for one specific model. On the Tool kits page you can filter by your bike's brand. Not sure which kit is right? Send us your model and year and we'll help.
What's inside a tool kit?
The tools you need for the most common jobs on your bike on the road or trail, nothing missing and nothing extra, packed in our ROIA MOTO Tool Roll. Each product page shows what the kit includes.
Want to see exactly which tools your bike needs? Our free PDF guide for many popular adventure bikes shows every bolt with the right tool size.
My bike isn't listed, or I have a product idea.
Tell us! Send your bike's model and year or your idea to support@roiamoto.com. We keep adding new kits, and rider requests help us decide what comes next.
Can I add more tools to my kit?
Yes. In Tools & Add-ons you'll find extras like our pump, tire levers or the Trail Jack, all chosen for travelling light.
What can the Trail Jack lift?
The Trail Jack is an emergency tool for briefly lifting the front or rear wheel for a roadside repair. It's made for motorcycles up to 250 kg ready to ride and a maximum direct load of 200 kg. It doesn't replace a workshop lift or paddock stand. Please read the enclosed safety instructions before first use.
About ROIA MOTO
Who is behind ROIA MOTO?
A small company from Wörgl in Tyrol, Austria, founded by two friends: Italo and Paul. We ride ourselves, from Balkan trails to the TET, and only sell what we use and trust. Italo develops and tests the products, Paul keeps everything else running. More in About us.
Where are your products made?
Our tools come from selected manufacturers, mainly in Taiwan and Japan. Some products are made in China, and our rear rack in Romania. We put together and pack every tool kit ourselves in Wörgl, Austria, and hand each parcel to the carrier personally.
Do you use dropshipping?
No. Every order ships from our own warehouse in Austria. That way we keep full control over quality, packing and shipping.
Can I buy your products in a store?
No, we only sell online, directly to riders. Without dealer margins, we can put the money into quality instead of markups.
Still have a question?
Write to us. We're riders ourselves and answer every message personally.
