The Roia Moto Rear Rack for the Honda CRF300L and CRF300 Rally blends form and function with a sleek, low-profile design that sits close to the rear tail for a clean, factory look.

Lightweight, compact, and impressively strong, it stays out of the way while riding or dismounting, yet offers multiple tie-down points — ideal for soft luggage setups — and doubles as a solid grab handle.

A perfect mix of performance, practicality, and adventure-ready riding.

At only 700 grams (1.5 lbs) including all the mounting hardware, it's the perfect solution for riders who want to add functionality without turning the CRF into a heavy armoured motorcycle.

New! The Rear Rack has an optimized mounting angle for better compatibility with soft luggage. Check out the product video here.

Includes
  • Roia Moto Rear Rack
  • 4x Bolts
  • 4x Spacers

Flexible mounting points

With 20 cutouts (10 per side) and 4 pre-drilled holes, this rear rack offers an exceptional number of mounting options. Strap your toolkit directly to it, carry a fuel canister, secure your jacket, mount soft luggage systems, or tie down a duffle bag — it’s ready for anything.

For shorter rides, we often strap the Roia Moto Tool Kit directly onto the rack using two Moto Straps.

For longer adventures, it makes the perfect mounting base for a wide range of soft luggage setups.

sleek and functional

Like every Roia Moto product, we focus on functionality paired with a clean, purposeful design. The rear rack hugs the rear fender of the Honda CRF300L and Rally perfectly, adding minimal bulk and keeping the bike’s aesthetic sharp and uncluttered.

It’s also built tough. It can take a hit and keep going (it’s not plastic), and it doubles as a solid grab handle for moving the motorcycle around or lifting it after a drop.

At only 700 grams, it’s the lightest rear rack on the market that’s truly suitable for adventure riding.

We also don’t cheap out on hardware. High-quality steel bolts, strength grade 10.9, with a special zinc-flake coating providing automotive-grade corrosion resistance while maintaining extremely high tensile strength.

Additional Information

Maximum Load Capacity

Maximum Load Capacity: 5 kg / 11 lb

Let’s take a moment to explain what “maximum load capacity” actually means for us riders.

The rear rack itself can handle far more than 5 kg. I can step on it with my full body weight (80 kg / 176 lb) and it won’t fail.

The real limitation is not the rack — it’s the Honda CRF300L/Rally subframe.

Unfortunately, Honda has never published an official load limit for the subframe. That’s the actual weak point.

Honda does sell an OEM top box for the CRF300L/Rally, and they specify a maximum cargo weight of 3 kg. Let’s be honest: if you own a CRF300L, you’re probably taking it off-road or on multi-day trips — and 3 kg of luggage is simply not realistic.

I’ve personally ridden around 3,000 km (1,864 miles) on the Trans Euro Trail with 15 kg (33 lb) on this rack, without any problems.

Every trip, rider, and luggage setup is different, so here are some guidelines:

  • Aggressive riding, fast bumps, or jumps = high stress on the subframe
  • Commuting on paved roads = lower stress on the subframe
  • Placing most of the weight forward (closer to the seat) = less stress on the subframe

You get the idea.

The truth is this: every company selling a rear rack for the Honda CRF300L is limited by the subframe, not the rack itself — and Honda has never provided an official number for it.

For safety and compliance, you must respect the official 5 kg limit.

Any higher load is at the rider’s discretion and depends on their riding style, terrain, and experience.
